Bradford Road down to one lane eastbound pending emergency Yorkshire Water repairs at Dawsons Corner
Bradford Road eastbound is currently down to one lane
Repair works are set to cause disruption as Dawsons Corner this weekend.
Traffic travelling eastbound along the A647 Bradford Road West is currently down to one lane following a carriageway failure at Dawsons Corner.
Repairs will be carried out by Yorkshire Water from 8am on Saturday, May 30 to 8pm on Sunday, May 31. Traffic will continue to be reduced to one lane eastbound to allow for the works to be carried out safely during the weekend.

Dawsons Corner, which connects the A647 Stanningley Road and the A6120 Ring Road, has recently been switched to a new layout as part of the wider £44 million revamp at the junction, aimed at speeding up journeys, reducing air pollution and improving safety.
The changes, which has seen the old roundabout removed and a new through road created, have largely been welcomed by locals, who have taken to social media to praise the new look junction, calling it “much improved” and “money well spent.”
Phase three of construction is now underway and progressing well, with the next stage of planned works set to begin during the Summer holidays period (July/August).
