All Leeds bus diversions and road closures for Remembrance Day parades

This year, the act of remembrance will be held at Victoria Gardens on Sunday, November 9. At 10.50am, a procession of dignitaries will leave Leeds Civic Hall, before falling in behind a parade of ex-servicemen and women, veterans’ organisations, and current serving military personnel, who will lead the march to the war memorial from Rossington Street.

The service will be led by the Bishop of Kirkstall, Right Reverand Arun Arora, before at 11am, joining the rest of the nation in a two-minute silence, which will be preceded by a bugler sounding the Last Post. There will be rolling road closures throughout the day.

Remembrance Day parades will be held across Leeds and some bus services will be affected. Here is a full list of diversions:

• Barwick-in-Elmet, Main Street closed from 1055-1115.
• Service 64 may be delayed during this event.
• Farsley, Calverley Bridge and Bagley Lane closed from 1245-1330.
• Service 16 diverting via Coal Hill Lane, Rodley Lane, Ring Road and Bradford Road.
• Service 16A diverting via Rodley Lane, Ring Road and Bradford Road.
• Guiseley, The Green, Church Street and Town Gate closed from 0930-1145.
• Services 27 and 34 diverting between Yeadon and Guiseley via Haworth Lane, Kirk Lane, New Road and Leeds Road.
• Service 27 and 34 journeys that terminate at Guiseley will turn around at White Cross and resume journey towards Leeds outside Guiseley Morrisons stop 45018830 (opposite Morrisons).

• Service A3 diverting via Leeds Road in both directions.
• Headingley, St Michael’s Road  and A660 Otley Road closed from 1035-1115
• Services 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28 and X84 may be delayed during this event.
• Leeds City Centre, Kirkgate closed from 1130-1215.
• Services 4, 4F, 16 and 16A towards Pudsey diverting via St Peter's Street, Eastgate and Vicar Lane.
• Service 40 towards Leeds a normal route York Street then via St Peter’s Street and Eastgate to Vicar Lane terminating at stop Victoria Q.
• Service 40 towards York Road starting from Vicar Lane to resume a normal route.
• Morley, Queen Street closed from 1000-1200.
• Services 51 and 52 diverting via Corporation Street and Fountain Street.
• Otley, Station Road, Kirkgate, Bridge Street, Cattle Market Street, North Parade, Wesley Street, Crossgate and Bondgate closed from 1330-1630.
• Service 34 diverting via Bradford Road, Piper Lane, Westgate, Boroughgate and Crossgate in both directions.
• Service A3 terninating at the junction of A638 Pool Bridge and A659 Pool Road during this event.

• Service X84 diverting via A660 Otley Bypass, Bradford Road, Piper Lane, Westgate, Boroughgate and Crossgate in both directions.
• Oulton, Fleet Lane and Aberford Road closed from 1030-1130.
• Service 9A diverting via Holmsley Lane, Station Lane and Aberford Road.
• Service 168 diverting via tation Lane, Church Lane, Oulton Lane, Quarry Hill and North Lane.
• Service 446 diverting via North Lane in both directions.
• Pool in Wharfdale, Main Street closed from 1030-1115.
• Service A2 towards Harrogate operating as normal from Bradford to the bottom of Pool Bank, then via Arthington Lane, Harrogate Road (A61) and continuing to Pannal (Spacey Houses) onto normal route.
• Service A2 towards Bradford operating as normal from Harrogate to Pannal, continuing on Harrogate Road (A61), then via Harewood Bridge, Arthington Lane and Pool Bank to resume a normal route.
• Service A3 diverting via Leeds Road, Gay Lane, Bondgate and Crossgates.
• Pudsey, Chapeltown, Carlisle Road and Church Lane closed from 0830-1130.
• Service 4 towards Highfield Green diverting via Church Lane, Lidgett Lane, Cemetery Road, Victoria Road and Waterloo Road.
• Service 4 towards Leeds from the Terminus then via Cemetery Road, Lidgett Hill and Church Lane to Pudsey Bus Station.
• Service 4F towards Fartown terminating at Pudsey Bus Station during this event.

• Service X11 diverting via Owlcotes Road, Cemetery Road, Lidget Hill and Church Lane to Pudsey Bus Station In both directions.
• Rawdon, Harrogate Road and A65 Leeds Road closed from 1430-1545.
• Services 27 and 34 may be delayed during this event.
• Service A1 diverting via Layton Lane, Town Street, Larkfield Road and Canada Road in both directions.
• Service A2 diverting via Apperley Lane in both directions.
• Rothwell, Gillett Lane and Oulton Lane closed from 0930-1200.
• Service 9A diverting via Wakefield Road, Wood Lane, Haigh Road and Styebank Lane.
• Scholes (Leeds) Main Street and Station Road closed from 0945-1115.
• Service 11A diverting via Barwick Road, Leeds Road, East Leeds Orbital Road, and A64 York Road.
• Whitkirk, Selby Road closed from 1030-1145.
• Services 19 and 19A diverting via Chapel Street, Cross Green Lane and Ring Road. Selby Road will not be served.
