Busy Leeds road closed after 'serious crash'

Crossgates Road in Cross Gates is closed this evening (Friday, June 19) following an incident.

According to the AA, the road is closed in both directions between A64 York Road and Hawkhill Drive due to a "serious crash", which was first reported at 5.30pm.

West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information.
