Full round-up of Leeds bus diversions and cancellations as Harehills Lane hit by roadworks
Multiple bus services are set to face disruption
A bus route in north Leeds is set to be hit by roadworks.
Traffic travelling along Harehills Lane in Chapel Allerton will be affected by roadworks from today (Monday, September 7) to Friday, September 11. Bus service 91 towards Pudsey will divert via Harehills Avenue and Chapeltown Road, and will serve bus stop 45013629 Chapel Allerton Hospital.
Brownberrie Lane, Horsforth will also be affected by roadworks from Monday until Wednesday (September 9) between 7pm and 3am each night.
Service 27 towards Guiseley will divert via Broadgate Lane, Church Lane, Fink Hill, Ring Road Horsforth, A65, Green Lane and Harrogate Road, while the 27 towards Leeds will divert via Harrogate Road, A65, Ring Road Horsforth, Fink Hill, Church Lane and Broadgate Lane.
In Stourton, Pontefract Road will continue to be affected by roadworks until Sunday, September 20. Services 140, 141 and 168 will divert via A61, A639, Wakefield Road and Queen Street in both directions.
Meanwhile, Skeltons Lane in Whinmoor will remain closed due to roadworks until Friday, September 25. Service 7 will divert via East Leeds Orbital Road Ring Road, Wetherby Road and Red Hall Lane in both directions.
Bus stop 45010914 Merrion C also remains out of use in Leeds city centre, as a result of ongoing works on Woodhouse Lane, while the Leeds Inner Ring Road will also remain closed due to a bridge inspection works until Friday, November 26 between 7pm and 6am, Monday to Friday only.
Service 7 will divert via Marsh Lane and York Street, missing bus stop 45032209 Victoria L, Vicar Lane, as a result.
Long term closures to A656 Ridge Road Bridge, between Garforth and Micklefield, and Austhorpe Lane Bridge will remain in place until December. Disruption to Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass will also remain in place until early 2027.
Pepper Road Bridge in Hunslet will be closed for a period of six months. The road will be closed throughout, with a diversion clearly signposted. Bus services 74, 75 and 86 will be diverted in both directions. Valley Road, Pudsey will also remain closed due to roadworks until October 16.
In a welcome boost to city services, long-term disruption to Lawnswood roundabout, Oulton Drive and the Leeds Road junction with Harrogate Road is set to be lifted.
