Full list of Leeds bus diversions and cancellations as Temple Newsam hit by roadworks
Service 19 will be diverting via Selby Road
A busy area in east Leeds is set to be affected by roadworks.
New Temple Gate, Temple Newsam will be affected by roadworks from Wednesday, September 16 to Friday, September 18 and Monday 21 to Friday, September 25 between 8am and 5pm every day.
Service 19 will be diverting via Selby Road in both directions and will observe all bus stops on the diversion, while service 21 towards Seacroft is diverting via Selby Road, Field End Gardens, Field End Road and Temple Lea. Use bus stops 45011229 Halton Lidl or 45011239 Templegate Road during these works.
In Great Preston, Berry Lane and Station Road will be affected by temporary traffic lights from Tuesday, September 15 to Tuesday, October 13. Service 163 towards Castleford is diverting via Brigshaw Lane. Services towards Leeds are not affected.
Meanwhile, Skeltons Lane in Whinmoor will remain closed due to roadworks until Friday, September 25. Service 7 will divert via East Leeds Orbital Road Ring Road, Wetherby Road and Red Hall Lane in both directions.
Bus stop 45010914 Merrion C also remains out of use in Leeds city centre, as a result of ongoing works on Woodhouse Lane, while the Leeds Inner Ring Road will also remain closed due to a bridge inspection works until Friday, November 26 between 7pm and 6am, Monday to Friday only.
Service 7 will divert via Marsh Lane and York Street, missing bus stop 45032209 Victoria L, Vicar Lane, as a result.
Long term closures to A656 Ridge Road Bridge, between Garforth and Micklefield, and Austhorpe Lane Bridge will remain in place until December. Disruption to Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass will also remain in place until early 2027.
Pepper Road Bridge in Hunslet will be closed for a period of six months. The road will be closed throughout, with a diversion clearly signposted. Bus services 74, 75 and 86 will be diverted in both directions. Valley Road, Pudsey will also remain closed due to roadworks until October 16.
In a welcome boost to city services, roadworks affecting Pontefract Road, Stourton and North Parkway, Seacroft have been completed.
