M62 traffic: Leeds drivers face ‘severe’ 90-minute delays as commuters hit the M62

Motorists are facing ‘severe’ delays of more than an hour on the M62 this evening.

Commuters starting to head home after a long-day at work might find themselves caught up in traffic right now. Highways England are reporting queues of 90 minutes on part of the motorway.

The disruption is being caused by congestion on the westbound section of the M62. Traffic is heaviest between J26 and J24 on Wednesday (March 4) evening.
