Leeds road to close for resurfacing work as residents warned to expect disruption
The work kicks off today
A Leeds road is set to be closed for resurfacing this week.
Bath Lane in Bramley will be closed from Monday September 28, with the work expected to take two days.
The stretch between Hough Lane and 59 Bath Lane is due to be resurfaced by Leeds City Council.

The road will be closed between 9.30am and 3pm while the work takes place.
Councillor Tom Hinchcliffe, who has been campaigning for repairs to Bath Lane, said the resurfacing was welcome news for residents.
He said: "For some time, we have been campaigning for Bath Lane to be repaired.
"We're pleased we could secure this for Bramley residents and would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation."
Residents have been asked to make sure vehicles they are responsible for, as well as visitors' cars, are parked off the road during those hours.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works, while access to properties will be maintained where it is safe to do so, Coun Hinchcliffe said.
Drivers who use Bath Lane have been warned that vehicular access could be "heavily restricted" at times.
