15 Leeds streets where drivers are most often reported by the public - according to latest police data

Vigilant local motorists armed with dash cams have helped police take action against nearly 7,300 reckless drivers through the pioneering 'Op Snap' submission scheme.

Op Snap, run by West Yorkshire Zero Vision, allows members of the public to submit dashcam footage of dangerous drivers across the region.

Over the past year, more than 11,000 clips have been submitted, enabling police to take action against 7,295 offenders.

Paul Jeffrey, Head of Casualty Prevention and Police-led Prosecutions at West Yorkshire Police, said: “Members of the public often feel frustrated when they witness bad driving, and Operation Snap empowers them to take action and help us enforce the law.

“Last year, police officers on patrol in our communities issued 38,848 fixed penalty tickets for traffic offences, and safety cameras detected over 285,000 speed and red-light violations.

“All of these measures aim to prevent collisions and avoidable loss of life on our roads. By working together with the public through Op Snap, we are directly tackling poor driving and making Vision Zero a reality.”

With data released every three months, here are the 15 roads in the Leeds District with the highest number of offences reported between July and September 2025:
