Multiple lanes are closed on the M62 right now ⚠️
Drivers are facing delays on the M62 heading towards Leeds this morning.
A crash has caused two lanes to be shut during the Tuesday (June 9) commute. It is impacting traffic on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway.
The collision happened between junction 25 and 26 with the latest update showing delays of around 50 minutes by 7.55am.
In a post on social media, National Highways: England wrote: “Lanes 3 and 4 (of 4) are closed eastbound on the #M62 in #WestYorkshire between J25 #Clifton and J26 #Cleckheaton due to a traffic collision.
“Crews are on scene dealing. There are currently delays on the approach.”
The incident has now cleared.
It comes after major delays caused huge disruptions on the A1M yesterday (June 8). Drivers faced queues of around an hour.
