M62 delays: Leeds drivers face ‘severe’ traffic on motorway - with 13-minute waits
Be warned that there are long delays on the M62 ⚠️
Drivers who are heading to Leeds this morning are being warned of ‘severe’ delays on the M62.
Motorists are facing lengthy queues on the eastbound side of the motorway on Wednesday (July 22). The traffic is ‘increasing’, the AA has warned.
On its online traffic map, the AA explains: “Severe delays of 13 minutes and delays increasing on M62 Eastbound between J25 A644 Wakefield Road (Brighouse) and J27 M621 (Gildersome). Average speed 15 mph.”
The delays do not appear to have been caused by any specific road incident. Expect the queues to ease as commuters finish their journeys this morning.
