How new Northern and TransPennine Express timetables will impact train travel in Leeds

Northern and TransPennine Express have released their new train timetables

Rail passengers in Leeds are set to be impacted by new timetables.

Alongside the rest of the rail industry, train operators Northern and TransPennine Express (TPE) will introduce new timetables for passengers from Sunday, May 17.

Most of Northern's services will see no change in May, with some targeted adjustments taking place to help with punctuality and reflecting feedback from customers. Meanwhile, TPE will add eight new services, roughly a train an hour, between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, throughout the night.
