Three-way road closure to be implemented for Yorkshire Water works in Leeds
The closure will allow for repair works to be carried out
A three-way road closure is set to be implemented in Leeds.
Yorkshire Water has issued advanced notice of the temporary three-way closure and signed diversion at the junction of Lidgett Lane and Beech Grove, LS25 1EF.
The closure will allow for repair works to be carried out along the route on Sunday, August 2.

A Yorkshire Water spokesperson said: “The road closure and diversion will be place to keep everyone safe whilst we work as quickly as possible to complete this repair and reinstate the highway.
“While this is an urgent repair, we have planned the work in advance to give residents and businesses in the area plenty of notice of the closure and diversion. We appreciate that this is disruptive and would like to apologise and thank everyone for their patience.”
Contractors for Yorkshire Water are working closely with the Leeds City Council highways team to keep disruption to a minimum.
Their intention is to reopen the road as soon as it is safe to do so. Access to local residents and businesses will remain in place.
