Two September events aimed at bringing new communities together
Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire is hosting a raft of events in September, with two in particular in Eggborough and Wetherby aimed at bringing people together to help strengthen community bonds.
Open house events are being held at Swinnow Park, in Wetherby, on Saturday, September 5, and at Millstone Walk in Eggborough, on Saturday, September 12. Both events will run from 11am until 5pm and will include a coffee van providing complimentary drinks and sweet treats for visitors.

Sam Evans, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, said: “We have expanded our usual open house event to make these two events for the local area in Eggborough and Wetherby and we are inviting the local community and new residents along to our developments in the hope of helping these new communities grow and flourish.
“We also feel it is important for prospective buyers to view the range of homes currently under construction, so that they can visualise the space and imagine what it would be like to live there.
"We are hosting further events throughout September across the region which we hope will give people the chance to learn more about our developments.”
Other events are being held at Woodside Vale in Leeds, on Saturday, September 5, at Frobisher Meadows, in Altofts, on Saturday, September 12, at Newland Grange, in Wakefield, on Saturday, September 19, and at Morwick Springs, in Leeds, on Saturday, September 26.
Sales teams will be on hand during all the events to answer questions while visitors can enjoy a tour of the developments and see available homes. An independent financial advisor will also be available to answer questions about mortgages, affordability and the buying process.
Swinnow Park, in Racecourse Approach, will provide a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties. All the homes will be connected to a Community Heat Hub as the development has no gas.
The heat hub creates heat using large air source heat pumps, delivered to homes through a network of highly insulated pipes.
Millstone Walk will deliver 110 two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes. Properties include PV panels, triple glazing, smart heating controls, EV charging points, wastewater heat recovery and thermal door and window lintels, designed to reduce heat loss.
