UNIQLO Leeds opening delayed as fashion chain releases statement

“Due to an unforeseen delay, our new store in Leeds will open later than originally expected”

Japanese casualwear retailer UNIQLO has confirmed its new Leeds store will not open as originally expected, with the new launch now pushed back to 2027.

The store on Briggate had initially been expected to open in the Spring/Summer of 2026, before the timeframe shifted to Autumn/Winter.

Now, the shopfront simply displays a “coming soon” message.
