12 wintery pictures as a blanket of snow falls in Leeds overnight

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice, which forecasters warn could lead to disruption across West Yorkshire.

Expected to remain in place until 3pm today, there is a risk of freezing rain across the east of the area for a few hours after dawn on Sunday morning, perhaps leading to widespread ice that would affect all surfaces.
