Leeds is soaking up the sunshine with temperatures reaching above 30°C

After some much-needed rain this morning, Leeds is once again basking in the June sunshine.

Temperatures in the city are expected to reach up to 33°C this afternoon, with many people making the most of the warm weather.

Yorkshire Evening Post photographer Gerard Binks spent the day capturing scenes across the city as Leeds enjoyed the sunshine.
