When is snow forecast for Britain?
Britain reportedly faces the prospect of further snow as fresh weather charts reveal wintry conditions could return within a few days.
WXCharts data has turned white and purple for November 30, signalling significant prospects of snowfall across swathes of Britain. The forecasting maps suggest flakes could descend upon Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, the Cotswolds and Stoke -on-Trent. The most severe conditions are set to strike around Inverness and Aberdeen, where thermometers could plunge to a punishing -6C, reports the Express.
However, National World reports that the Met Office’s long range forecast - which runs from November 28 to December 7 - only mentions snow once. It says on snowfall: “Snow will probably be confined to high ground in the north.”
