The exact time temperatures will hit 24C this week as Leeds basks in sunshine

The spoils of spring continue in the city this week, as the sunshine seems to be making more of a regular appearance in our skies that the drizzling clouds that occupied them earlier in the year.

Last week saw temperatures climb to 20°c over the weekend, and while there have been moments of overcast weather this week, things are looking decidedly bright for your Bank Holiday weekend - at least, according to forecasts from the Met Office.

This week will continue to see temperatures rise before the weekend, with Friday set for a high of 20°c on Thursday, before reaching 24°c on Friday.

Though the temperatures won’t hit the same heights as Friday; Saturday will see sunny intervals with the temperature reaching a high of 19°c, with the clouds coming back on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, with temperatures dropping to 17°c and 16°c respectively.
