Why Leeds folk would rule the castle on The Traitors according to Chat GPT - here's how to apply

When Claudia Winkleman swishes her fringe and utters the words ‘You are a Traitor’ we reckon a few Leeds’ faces would be grinning behind those cloaks - here’s why we’d be brilliant and how to apply.

Leeds folk would absolutely smash it on the hit BBC show - says ChatGPT - so here’s why:

1. Poker faces perfected on the 49 bus: When it’s chucking it down, the bus is late, and someone’s nabbed the last seat, Leeds folk don’t flinch. That calm, unbothered look? Ideal for keeping secrets in a Scottish castle.

2. Market-trained negotiators: Anyone who’s ever haggled over a pound of tomatoes in Kirkgate Market or bagged a bargain at the Corn Exchange knows how to keep a straight face while wheeling and dealing. Spot a Traitor? Or just after a better price? You’ll never know.

3. Loyal — until they’re not: Leeds folk are salt of the earth and loyal to their mates… but when there’s a cash prize on the line, don’t be surprised if they quietly vote you out after tea. All’s fair in love, war, and Winkleman.

4. No-nonsense charm: You can’t out-bluff a Yorkshire straight-talker. A Leeds contestant could look a Faithful in the eye and say, “Nah love, it’s not me,” and half the castle would believe them. It’s the accent — it just sounds honest.

5. Trained by life, weather, and football: If you can handle a freezing night match at Elland Road and still find your way to the chippy with a smile, you can handle anything — especially a round table full of scheming strangers.

6. A mix of grit and giggles: Leeds folk have that perfect balance of Northern grit and cheeky humour. They’d keep spirits high between banishments, make a cracking brew, and probably nickname Claudia “our lass” before the week’s out.

7. They play the long game: Whether it’s waiting for the train at Leeds Station or watching Leeds United climb back up the table, patience is our secret weapon. Traitors beware: we’re in it for the long haul.

You can apply right now - here’s how

The Traitors is brought by Studio Lambert. Here’s the blurb:

The Traitors is a competition series built on strategy, suspicion and deception, filmed in the Scottish Highlands. A team of players will compete in a series of missions, the more missions they complete successfully, the bigger the prize pot. However, hidden amongst the players are the ‘Traitors’. The Traitors meet in secret and decide who to eliminate from their fellow players known as the ‘Faithful’. The aim for the Traitors is to stay undetected until the end, the aim for the Faithful is to banish all of the Traitors before the game ends. Throughout the series, there will be twists, turns, rigorous challenges, shocks and surprises for the players. A game of trust and treachery… do you have what it takes to play?
