A major social media network is down for hundreds of users this morning.
X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, has been hit by outages on Thursday (April 2). People have rushed to Downdetector to flag problems with both the app and web version.
Upon opening the website, users are greeted with a ‘welcome to X’ message but are unable to see their timeline. The issues were first reported before 9am GMT and are continuing at the time of writing.
Nearly 1,000 users had reported problems with accessing X on Downdetector by 9am this morning.
