More than a third of Brits now save their favourite shows to watch while travelling
More than a third of Brits now choose to save their favourite shows to watch while on the move.
A poll of 2,000 adults found many now regularly watch television shows (35 per cent) or films (33 per cent) on the move. A further 70 per cent fit entertainment around their schedule rather than the other way round.

Some of this year’s biggest sporting TV moments have been enjoyed on the move, including key moments from last season’s Premier League action (25 per cent) and the drama of England’s summer in North America (21 per cent).
Popular reality TV moments have also been watched while travelling, with Love Island (18 per cent) and The Traitors (14 per cent) among the most commonly viewed programmes.
The research was commissioned by Samsung to launch the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which unfold to help maximise the viewing experience on the go.
It also emerged 33 per cent deliberately save their favourite content for train journeys, while 34 per cent have a backlog of shows and films lined up for future trips and 30 per cent save content specifically for flights and holidays.
Almost half of Brits (47 per cent) agree that while their evening viewing habits remain important, they are increasingly consuming entertainment throughout the day as well. However, 39 per cent admit they are often too tired in the evening to watch a programme or film from start to finish.
For 46 per cent, travelling is one of the few uninterrupted opportunities to properly enjoy a programme, film or book without the distractions of everyday life. The findings also explored the features consumers increasingly value when consuming entertainment on the move.
More than three quarters (76 per cent) cited portability as being important, while another 75 per cent value durability in a device when using it on the move. Having a large screen is also a priority for 73 per cent of those polled, reflecting the growing demand for immersive viewing experiences away from home.
The research from Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which unfolds into an eight-inch main display, found 51 per cent said being able to multitask is important when balancing entertainment with everyday tasks while travelling.
