A smart camera for under a tenner? Yep — and it won’t last long
If you're quick, there's a deal on Amazon that's hard to believe. It's a Blink Mini indoor camera for just £9.99.
This is a full HD smart camera with motion detection, two-way audio, and smart home integration, for just a tenner.
Amazon says the deal is "selling fast", but we don't know how many are in stock. We do know the deal will finish on December 8, so it's clearly a very short-lived discount.
Blink's cameras are often used as pet monitors, because they're compact indoor devices that give a clear view of your rooms, and the two-way audio lets you communicate with your pet.
They link up to a smartphone app, so you can view live footage. It can also be viewed from a smart display.
This camera doesn't have pan and tilt. That version costs £34.99, but it does come with a 30-day free trial of the Blink Subscription Plan. You don't need this, but it does mean you can save and share clips.
While HD footage will be fine for most people, the new version of the Blink Mini offers 2K - but that costs £39.99, not £9.99.
This is quite a remarkable deal though, and a great way to kit out your home with security tech for a bargain price.
