Bluey lands on Yoto with new audio card and it’s ideal for screen-free listening

A mum of an eight-year-old Bluey fan says the new Yoto release is a perfect way to keep children entertained without a screen.
Bluey fans have a new way to enjoy the hit children’s show, as a fresh Yoto card has now been released. Bluey: The Beach and Other Stories costs £9.99 and brings together eight tales inspired by the everyday moments and bigger adventures that have made the series such a favourite. The stories included are The Beach, The Pool, Baby Race, Barky Boats, Charades, Daddy Robot, Magic Xylophone and Typewriter.
The Yoto card is more than just a straight repeat of the TV episodes. It includes Bluey music, original sound effects and narration from Miranda Tapsell, who voices Dougie’s Mum in the series. For families who already use Yoto, the appeal is obvious. The player is a screen-free audio device for children, with cards that play stories, music, podcasts and other audio without needing a phone or tablet.
That makes it a useful option for parents looking for something entertaining that does not involve another screen, especially for children who are not ready to leave Bluey behind. The Australian animated series follows Bluey, her younger sister Bingo and their parents, Bandit and Chilli. It remains popular with viewers because it is genuinely funny and easy for adults to watch along with children.
