When the weather starts to change a lightweight jacket is all that’s needed - and this spring/summer season it’s all about collarless jackets.
The collarless trendis a modern update to classic tailoring, offering a minimalist alternative to traditional collared garments - and I love it.
From blazers and coats to shirts and dresses, collarless designs create clean lines for a sophisticated and effortless look.
In particular this season, collarless jackets have appeared in spring/summer 2026 collections from numerous brands, in everything from blazers and bomber jackets. They elevate daytime jeans and a t-shirt looks with ease, but also layer elegantly over dresses for occasions without being too bulky.
The absence of a collar is not only fresh and modern, but it allows necklaces, scarves, or earrings to really be noticed.
My favourite is The Anna Rose Embroidered Lace Bomber Jacket from Klass. Priced at just £30 in the sale right now, (down from £38), this ivory beauty immediately caught my eye because it’s crafted from delicate embroidered lace with a subtle floral motif.

I love all things floral and lace so this jacket is a match made in heaven for me, and I also love that because of its neutral colour it goes well with everything. It’s fully lined, but still lightweight, which means it’s been the perfect jacket choice as the weather gets a bit warmer but it’s still not warm enough to go outside with no outer layer at all.
What makes the Anna Rose Embroidered Lace Bomber Jacket really unique, I think, is how it blends that sporty bomber look with romantic lace detailing which makes it feel special yet wearable every day.

This isn’t the only collarless jacket that Klass have available to buy right now though. In fact, they’ve got a wide range so there’s something to suit every taste.
Try the Suedette Collarless Jacket in Green (£30, was £38) for an elegant and timeless look. There’s also the Faux Leather Collarless Jacket in Black (£30, was £40) or the Faux Leather Racer Jacket in White (£50) which will both give an update on a classic wardrobe piece.
Speaking of timeless designs, take a look at the Collarless Washed Denim Jacket to give your denim collection an refresh. Available in a range of colours including blue, dusky pink and red. Prices vary between £30 and £40, depending on the colour chosen.
