The lightweight serum and moisturiser hybrid contains hyaluronic acid and promises lasting hydration without a heavy or sticky finish

This £9 ‘glass skin’ moisturiser promises hydration for up to 100 hours

A Korean skincare-inspired face cream promising the sought-after “glass skin” look has been reduced to £8.99 on Amazon, with the limited-time deal cutting its usual price in half.

The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Glass Skin Liquid Cream normally costs £17.99, but Amazon has knocked £9 off the price of the 50ml bottle. More than 5,000 have been bought through the retailer in the past month.

Interest in “glass skin”, a phrase used to describe a particularly smooth, hydrated and luminous-looking complexion, has helped Korean beauty routines become increasingly influential. This L’Oréal moisturising cream takes inspiration from that trend while being considerably easier to find than some imported skincare products.

Rather than behaving like a conventional rich face cream, the formula is described as a hybrid between a milky serum and a moisturiser. L’Oréal says it feels as light as a serum but offers the hydration expected from a cream, with a non-sticky finish intended for morning and evening use.

The headline claim is up to 100 hours of hydration and glow. According to the brand, the Revitalift Filler Liquid Cream penetrates as many as 10 skin layers and helps the complexion retain moisture for longer.

Its formula includes macro and micro hyaluronic acids alongside Vitamin Cg, Vitamin B3 and Vitamin B5. L’Oréal says this combination intensely hydrates, visibly replumps the skin, smooths lines and brightens its appearance while helping to repair the skin barrier.

The company also says the glass skin moisturiser has been clinically tested on all skin types and is clinically proven to reduce the visible appearance of fine lines. It is listed as suitable for combination, dry, mature, normal and oily skin.

Amazon customers have given the product an average rating of 4.5 stars from more than 800 reviews. Combined with the 5,000-plus purchases reported during the past month, that gives prospective buyers considerably more feedback to consult than they might find for an unfamiliar skincare launch.

At £8.99, the half-price L’Oréal skincare deal works out at £17.98 per 100ml. Buyers ordering four qualifying products may also be offered an additional 5% saving, although eligibility and promotional terms should be checked before paying.

L’Oréal recommends using the cream on the face and neck after serum. During the morning, it should be followed by an SPF rather than treated as a substitute for sun protection.

As with any skincare product, results will vary between users, and anyone with particularly reactive skin may want to check the ingredients before applying it widely. The “glass skin” description refers to the intended cosmetic appearance and is not a promise of flawless skin.

Amazon labels the reduction as a limited-time deal, meaning the price could change or return to £17.99 without warning. Those interested can view the £8.99 L’Oréal Revitalift offer while the 50% reduction remains available.

The product contains 50ml, so its lasting value will depend on how much is applied and whether it becomes part of both a morning and evening routine.
