One of the biggest selling points of the 9.5L Ninja air fryer is its two independent cooking drawers, allowing users to cook different foods at different temperatures and timings at the same time. Ninja says both drawers can finish together, helping make complete meals easier without juggling oven shelves or separate appliances.
The dual zone air fryer includes six cooking functions – Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast, Bake, Reheat and Dehydrate – giving shoppers plenty of flexibility beyond chips and frozen food. Ninja also claims the appliance can cook up to 75% faster than fan ovens when preparing foods including sausages and fish fingers.
With a total 9.5L capacity, the Ninja Foodi Max is designed for larger households and batch cooking. Each drawer can reportedly hold up to 1.4kg of fries or a 2kg chicken, while the overall capacity is said to feed up to eight portions.
Ninja also highlights potential energy savings, claiming the air fryer could cut energy bills by up to 65% compared with conventional ovens when using recommended cooking times for sausages.
The appliance comes with two non-stick dishwasher-safe drawers, crisper plates and a recipe guide included in the box. The black and silver version is currently the cheapest colour available through the same Amazon listing.
At £165.44, the Ninja dual drawer air fryer is now sitting close to one of its lower recent Amazon prices, making it a tempting option for shoppers looking to upgrade before summer entertaining and family gatherings.
