Pet owners are being offered a new way to cut the cost of everyday essentials - by buying up everything from routine treatments to food at prices that are much cheaper than those charged by veterinary surgeries.
Pet Drugs Online has launched a membership scheme which offers instant discounts, ongoing savings and extra perks aimed at households regularly buying pet food, flea treatments, supplements and other essentials online.
The tiered schemes start off with a free subscription, and there are two paid plans aimed at people who make regular orders throughout the year.

Upfront savings are available on the free plan, but the premium Gold membership offers larger savings of 20% off a first order, and a more affordable Silver plan gives customers 15% off their first shop.
Additionally to the upfront savings, Silver members get 2% off everything every time they shop, free standard delivery, monthly exclusive offers and 24/7 online vet consultations for non-urgent advice through PawSquad.

Gold members get 4% off every order, priority next-day delivery and extra savings on repeat subscriptions.
The memberships are designed to help owners save money on the kind of purchases many people make every month anyway – from treats and dental products to worming support, accessories and pet healthcare essentials.
The free Bronze plan includes 10% off a first order and early access to offers and advice, while the paid tiers cost £25 per year for Silver or £45 per year for Gold.

The schemes serve as an alternative for households looking for ways to reduce everyday spending without cutting back on pet care. Most of the products offered by Pet Drugs Online are substantially cheaper than vet prices - often half the price.
The company has been operating for more than 20 years and it has an “Exceptional” Feefo rating based on more than 200,000 reviews.
