Taking place on 25 May at Galtres Pickering Showground, the event runs from 10am to 4pm and packs in far more than you might expect for the price.
Once you’re in, your ticket covers arena shows, vintage displays, working demonstrations, craft and food marquees, trade stands and children’s entertainment areas, so you’re not constantly paying for extras throughout the day.
There’s plenty to explore, from traction engines and classic cars to motorcycles, tractors and military vehicles, alongside working machinery and miniature steam engines that bring the whole rally to life.
It’s not just static displays either. The arena programme runs throughout the day, with stunt rider Steve Colley’s trials bike show delivering jumps and crowd interaction, while Magic Mike adds a more family-friendly mix of magic, ventriloquism and light entertainment.
For families, the value really stands out. There’s a dedicated children’s area with vintage rides, inflatables, slides and trampolines, plus reptiles and birds of prey displays, meaning you can easily fill a full day without needing to go elsewhere.
Prices start from £3.50 for children, £8 for adults and £18 for a family ticket covering two adults and up to three children, with under fives going free, making it one of the cheaper ways to plan something for the Spring Bank Holiday.
With savings of up to 56% and a full day’s worth of entertainment included, it’s one of the stronger family deals we’ve seen ahead of the long weekend.
