This Sentier fragrance and candle advent calendar has won over even if it is only 12-days

A sceptical reviewer was won over by Sentier’s 12-day fragrance calendar – but the limited number of days remains a drawback.
Hold the tinsel! Advent calendars should have 24 doors, or even 25 for that extra Christmas Day treat. So when the Sentier Fragrance Advent Calendar 2026 arrived, our reviewer was ready to scoff at its 12 days. But it contains six 10ml fragrances and six 60g scented candles, all presented in a beautiful keepsake box.
Priced at £109 with a stated value of £529, the calendar offers a strong price-to-value ratio without overhyping the deal. Our reviewer, already a fan of Sentier’s unique scents, was keen to try some new aromas. The artwork gives a real winter feel, and the combination of perfumes and candles offers something for personal use as well as for the home.
The standout fragrance was Ardent Cherry Extrait de Parfum, which combines black cherry, warm spices, incense, amber and sandalwood to create a richer scent than the name might suggest. Other fragrances include Parisian Embrace, Path of Lemons, Balade in Autumn, Noor Riviera and Méribel. The candle selection features Ombre de Miel, Botanical Sanctuary, Alpine Chalet, Land of Dreams, Whispering Spell and Lait de Feu.
The main drawback is the 12-day format. Our reviewer felt that finishing the calendar before Christmas felt premature. Also, while Ardent Cherry was a highlight, the absence of a full-size bottle made the calendar feel less special. However, given the price and the focus on discovery sizes, this design choice is understandable.
Overall, the Sentier Fragrance Advent Calendar 2026 converted a sceptic. While it doesn’t replace the excitement of a traditional 24-day advent calendar, it feels like a carefully curated fragrance collection rather than a shortened version. Would our reviewer normally buy a 12-day calendar? Probably not. Would they make an exception for this one? Yes, though they wish Ardent Cherry came in a bigger bottle.
