Shark PowerPro vacuum is more than £100 off in one colour

One colour of this bestselling Shark vacuum is now more than £100 off

Picking a different colour could save buyers an extra £27.99 on one of Amazon’s bestselling cordless vacuum cleaners.

The Shark PowerPro Cordless Stick Vacuum has an RRP of £249.99, but Amazon is currently offering the Navy Metallic version for £142. That represents a saving of £107.99, or 43%, while the Electric Blue model is included in a limited-time deal at £169.99.

Both versions of the Shark PowerPro IZ381UK are listed with the same principal features, so buyers prepared to choose navy rather than blue appear to be getting the stronger deal.

The difference is easily missed because Amazon’s main product page initially highlights the Electric Blue model and its 32% saving. Selecting the Navy Metallic Shark PowerPro from the colour options brings the price down by a further £27.99.

It is already Amazon’s number one bestseller in its Stick Vacuums and Electric Brooms category, with more than 700 bought during the past month. The cordless Shark vacuum also has an average score of 4.5 out of five from 949 ratings.

One of its headline features is FloorDetect, which identifies whether the vacuum is travelling over carpet or a hard floor and adjusts its cleaning accordingly. This removes the need to stop and manually switch modes while moving between rooms.

Shark has also fitted its PowerPro cordless vacuum with Reveal Technology, which is designed to highlight sticky marks, hidden accidents and dirt that may otherwise be difficult to spot.

The PowerFins floorhead maintains contact with different surfaces, while the company’s Anti Hair Wrap system helps stop long hair and pet hair becoming tightly wound around the brush roll. That could be particularly welcome in homes where cleaning the vacuum often feels like another household job in itself.

Battery life is listed at up to 50 minutes, although actual runtime will depend on the selected power setting, floor type and attachments being used. The Shark IZ381UK can also be converted into a handheld cleaner for upholstery, stairs and vehicle interiors.

Flexology allows its wand to bend so the floorhead can reach beneath beds, sofas and other low furniture without requiring the person using it to crouch as far. The same mechanism lets the Shark cordless stick vacuum fold down for more compact storage.

A HEPA filter is included, along with a crevice tool and upholstery tool. Buyers also receive a five-year Shark guarantee when the appliance is registered, although it is worth checking the complete guarantee terms and any separate battery conditions.

At £142, the Navy Metallic version sits well below its £249.99 RRP and costs considerably less than many premium cordless models. Anyone determined to have Electric Blue can still save £80, but choosing the less expensive colour leaves another £27.99 in the household budget.

Amazon prices and availability can change quickly, particularly when different colours are discounted separately. Buyers should confirm that Navy Metallic is selected and that the £142 price is displayed before completing their order.
