The slim travel-friendly garment steamer produces 20g of steam per minute and includes a reversible pad for delicate clothes and lint removal.
A compact Tefal clothes steamer has dropped below £24 at Amazon, offering a quicker way to tackle creased clothing without getting the ironing board out.
The yellow Tefal Pure Pop Handheld Clothes Steamer is currently £23.98, down from its £49.99 RRP. The 52% discount takes £26.01 off the usual price, although Amazon says the deal is selling quickly.
Designed for use at home or while travelling, the slim handheld steamer takes just 15 seconds to heat up. That could make it particularly handy on busy mornings when a shirt, dress or pair of trousers needs some last-minute attention.
The Tefal Pure Pop produces up to 20g of steam per minute and has a removable 70ml water tank. Tefal says this provides enough steam to remove creases from one or two garments, depending on the material and how much work they require.
There is no need to set up an ironing board. Clothes can be refreshed vertically while hanging up, while the steamer can also be used horizontally on areas such as collars and cuffs.
Its reversible pad gives the discounted Tefal clothes steamer another practical use. One side has a velvet finish intended for steaming delicate fabrics, while the reverse acts as a lint remover.
That second surface could be welcome in homes with cats or dogs, where leaving the house without a generous coating of pet hair can feel like a minor personal triumph. As with any garment-care appliance, users should still check clothing labels and test delicate materials carefully.
The Pure Pop’s narrow design is aimed partly at travellers. It measures approximately 31.8cm tall, 14.1cm long and 5.7cm wide, allowing it to fit more easily inside a suitcase than a conventional iron. A travel pouch is included to keep it contained between uses.
That could prove useful for holidays, cruises, weddings and work trips, especially when hotel-room irons are unavailable or have seen better days. The portable Tefal garment steamer is unlikely to replace a full-sized iron for a large basket of laundry, but it offers a more convenient option for quick touch-ups.
Amazon shoppers have awarded the Pure Pop an average score of 4.3 out of five stars from more than 2,100 ratings. The yellow version is considerably cheaper than the other colours shown on the listing, with green priced at £29.99 and pink at £39 at the time of writing.
One point worth noting is an inconsistency in the supplied Amazon description. Although the selected product is listed as yellow and carries the DT2026 model number, the final promotional line refers to a “Teal Green hue”. Buyers should therefore make sure the yellow colour is selected before completing their order.
The £23.98 Tefal Pure Pop deal includes free returns according to the listing. Prices and availability can change without warning, so shoppers should check the latest total, delivery estimate and selected colour at checkout.
