A new giveaway is giving thousands of learner drivers the chance to secure free driving lessons, helping ease the cost of learning to drive.

Learning to drive has become an increasingly expensive milestone, with the cost of lessons continuing to rise and putting added pressure on learners' budgets. Now, a new nationwide giveaway is offering thousands of learner drivers the chance to cut those costs with free driving lessons.

Launched by e.l.f. Cosmetics in partnership with RED Driving School, the campaign will give up to 5,000 learner drivers a complimentary one-hour driving lesson. The initiative is designed to help new drivers gain valuable time behind the wheel without the usual expense.

With many learners requiring dozens of professional lessons before they're ready to take their practical test, even a free hour can help reduce the overall cost of getting a licence. The giveaway comes as aspiring drivers continue to face mounting expenses, from driving lessons and theory tests to practical test fees and the cost of insurance after passing.

The campaign, called the 'Grip, Set, Go' initiative after el.f.’s Power Grip range, will run until July 31. All you have to do is apply via the e.l.f. website and then, after the closing date, driving lesson vouchers to successful entrants.

The campaign's name, 'Grip, Set, Go', actually draws inspiration from two of e.l.f.'s top-selling products: the Power Grip Primer and Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray, both priced at £11, and both available to buy now via the e.l.f. website.

For many, getting a driving licence can make day-to-day travel significantly easier, and it may also open up greater employment opportunities. So, this could be a great help towards going from learner to fully qualified driver.
