Holidaymakers can save up to 10% on unlimited travel data with this code

A travel tech firm setting out to cut the cost of staying connected while abroad has launched a discount code for its travel data packages, helping customers save even more money.

Holafly sells digital SIM plans for more than 200 destinations, offering an alternative to expensive roaming charges, hunting for public Wi-Fi or buying a physical SIM card after landing.

Customers choose the country or region they are visiting, select how long they need data and install the Holafly eSIM directly on a compatible phone.

Many of the travel eSIM plans include unlimited data, and packages are discounted by up to 10% if you use the code ICONICMEDIA when you sign up.

The price is shown upfront, with no hidden fees added later. Travellers can also keep their existing physical SIM and usual WhatsApp number in their phone while using Holafly for mobile data.

That means calls, messages and everyday apps can remain connected to the same number, while the eSIM handles internet use abroad.

The discount code takes 5% off general Holafly plans. Travellers who choose one of the company’s subscription options can save 10%.

The subscription plans are likely to make the most sense for frequent travellers, people who regularly work overseas or anyone moving between several countries throughout the year.

Holafly also offers 11 regional eSIM packages, covering Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, North America, Oceania, China with Hong Kong and Macau, Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

One of Holafly’s newer benefits is called Always On. After an eligible eSIM has been installed, customers can receive 1GB of backup data every month without needing to reinstall the product or buy another package.

The monthly allowance is not intended to replace a full holiday plan, but it could help during a stopover, delayed flight or unexpected trip when a traveller suddenly needs maps, messages or transport apps.

Holafly says its Always On data currently works in more than 150 destinations. The allowance resets every 30 days and does not roll over if it is unused.

Customers can manage their plans through the Holafly app, which includes tools for checking phone compatibility, installing eSIMs, monitoring data and managing subscriptions.
