Let’s raise a glass to these Leeds pubs and the landlords and landladies who ran them during the 90s.
This retro photo gallery takes you back more than a quarter of a century to the tail end of the last millennium.
It shows some of the most popular pubs around Leeds at the time, and the men and women who kept the beer flowing and the good times rolling there.
Among the publicans pictured are a couple who won the pub of the year award two years running during the early 90s.
Featured too are the landlord and landlady who were awarded for their bravery after rescuing a woman when a fire broke out at her flat nearby.
The pubs in this gallery also include one converted from an old gravel barge, another that was once run by a Leeds United legend, and a third which famously changed its name to honour the late Princess Diana after her tragic death.
Some of the watering holes pictured are still going strong, but others have sadly closed their doors for good since these pictures were taken.
Do these photos bring back any happy memories of evenings at the pub in the 90s?
