Bramley is the destination of travel for a gallery of memories charting a year in the life of the west Leeds suburb.

1968 is the 12 months under the spotlight with traffic and travel, shops, street scenes and factories all featured in this trip down memory lane. Stand-out photos include memories of Bramley Omnibus Garage and Pudsey Road Fisheries. The images are a mix from the YEP archive and West Yorkshire Archive Service as well as others published courtesy of photographic archive Leodis, which is run by Leeds Library & Information Service. They also run heritage blog The Secret Library Leeds, which provides a behind the scenes look at the Central Library and highlights from its special collections, including rare books hidden away in the stacks.
