These wonderful photos put the super into Stanningley as they chart a decade in the life of the west Leeds suburb. They turn back the clock to the 1970s and bring into focus a range of street scenes, local landmarks and homes which were earmarked for demolition. The photos have been plucked from the Yorkshire Evening Post archive, some of which have never been seen before after being digitised for the first time. The photos are sure to evoke memories for a generation of people who called Stanningley home back in the day. READ MORE: Memories of lost Leeds pubs in Pudsey and Stanningley LOVE LEEDS?
