These wonderful photos raise a glass to a decade of memories from around Hunslet in the 1950s. The main photo showcases a pub which will be remembered by generations of drinkers around the suburb. The Junction Hotel was a popular watering hole during the decade and beyond before it was eventually converted to flats. A total of 14 photos make up this gallery of memories with shops and street scenes all in focus. The images are a mix from West Yorkshire Archive Service and published courtesy of photographic archive Leodis, which is run by Leeds Library & Information Service. Two back-to-back terraced houses on Moor Crescent each with a private garden. On the left of number 16 is a yard, originally built to house the shared outside toilet. On the far left a passage giving access to Moor Crescent Road and has been used to park a motorcycle in. The right hand section of number 14 appears to have been built as an extension as the roof is pitched at a different level to the rest of building.
