They turn back the clock to a time of social and economic change for the suburb and its residents. Community-spirit and a sense of fun and togetherness shines though in the photo gallery which features memories of stories making the news headlines as well as reflections of landmarks, trade and industry, shops, pubs and local sport. The gallery is powered by images from from the YEP archive and others published courtesy of photographic archive Leodis, which is run by Leeds Library & Information Service. They also run heritage blog The Secret Library Leeds, which provides a behind the scenes look at the Central Library and highlights from its special collections, including rare books hidden away in the stacks.
