Middleton in the 1930s is the focus of this wonderful collection of photo charting a decade in the life of the south Leeds suburb. It proved to be a time of change for Miggy and its residents as construction was well underway on a housing estate which would prove home sweet home for generations of people. Shopping is also featured with the Leeds Co-op in focus as well as shops on Middleton Park Circus. READ MORE: Memories of lost Leeds pubs in Hunslet, Belle Isle, Middleton and Stourton LOVE LEEDS?
