For 30 years, Lapicida has been the destination for superior surfaces in quality stone and tile.

Their three-acre site in Knaresborough is an experience in itself, filled with an incredible choice, including beautiful Italian porcelains, through to genuine antique reclaimed English sandstone flagstones, hand cut mosaics and more.

It has unique and limited-edition wall surfaces that carry a real wow-factor – there really is nothing like it.

The company is also world-renowned for its stone fabrication capabilities, meaning they are able to carve an ornate bath from a single block of stone, using a combination of the most up to date cutting equipment in the UK and the human touch of time-served stone masonry.

In response to customer needs and to complement their existing offering, the company has opened a new, purpose-built Slab Gallery where customers can make an appointment to view a whole range of marble, stone and porcelain slabs.

Step inside and the experience is nothing short of transformative. This is not a showroom in the conventional sense. It is a gallery of scale, each slab unique, each one telling a geological story millions of years in the making.

Carefully curated from leading quarries across the globe, the collection brings together some of the finest marble, limestone and porcelain slabs, all under one roof.Intricate veining, subtle tonal shifts and bold natural patterns simply cannot be appreciated in smaller samples.

The gallery’s captivating pieces include Breccia Viola, featuring swathes of deep violet and burgundy drift across a warm ivory.
