Against The Grain

An exciting little hideaway tucked away in Swinnow Grange Mills is Against The Grain Bar. Opened in 2022, the modern craft beer bar is run by Lew and Owen, who set out to create somewhere they genuinely wanted to spend time with friends, family and the wider community.

Food has become just as important to the experience. Against The Grain is well known for its freshly made pizzas, all prepared on site. Simple, well-crafted and generous, they’ve become a go-to for regulars and a big part of why people settle in and stay a little longer.

Community has been central from day one. Local musicians are showcased weekly. And the brand has since expanded into Yeadon.
