Save the date

To mark this 10th anniversary, Springfield Training is launching the Morley Apprenticeship Festival on Saturday, 19th July 2025. Designed to celebrate apprenticeships and champion the future of work, the festival will bring together young people, employers, training providers, and industry leaders from across the region. It’s a day dedicated to inspiring the next generation of talent and supporting those beginning their apprenticeship journey.

Founder and CEO Noel Johnson said: “Ten years ago when I developed Springfield Training, I began a mission—I wanted to change the world through educating one person at a time. Now, we have supported thousands of learners; to see them achieve and succeed fills me with immense pride. We are looking forward to supporting thousands more.”

Springfield’s roots lie in engineering and manufacturing, sectors close to Noel’s heart and foundational to the company’s early success. In honour of that legacy, Springfield is proud to sponsor the Engineering and Manufacturing category at the West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2025.

“Engineering and Manufacturing are two of the sectors that have secured our future,” says Noel.

We are forever grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to support learners in these industries, and we remain committed to developing future talent in these essential fields.

Outstanding training

Over the years, Springfield Training has diversified its offer—expanding into new sectors while maintaining its core values of quality, support, and learner-first delivery. The organisation’s impact is evident in the glowing endorsements it receives:

Lucy Hunte, national programme manager Apprenticeships, Health Education England, said: “Springfield Training have developed high-quality programmes that clearly meet the skills gaps needed in the Health Care sector.”

Another endorsement praised the lengths the firm goes to. Alex Miles, managing director, Yorkshire Learning Providers, said: “Springfield is an organisation that strives for outstanding in all that they do. They go above and beyond for their learners and employers to ensure that the apprenticeship experience is of the highest quality for all involved.”

And organisations which use Springfield Training come back for more. Debbie Connor, general manager at SMUK, added: “One of the outstanding features of our partnership with Springfield Training was the exceptional level of support provided throughout the entire implementation process. We look forward to the next 12 months working with Springfield and are excited to see what the future brings as we grow our relationship further.”

Noel added: “As Springfield Training looks ahead to the next chapter, the commitment remains the same—empowering people, enriching communities, and changing lives one learner at a time.”
