Graham Smyth's Leeds United player ratings vs Man Utd with 'very good' & 'dominant' 8/10s, three 6s

Leeds United weren’t at their best but kept an important Premier League point at Elland Road.

Leeds United were unable to claim all three points but extended their unbeaten run to seven games following Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United. Brenden Aaronson opened the scoring with a brilliant finish on 62 minutes before a lapse in concentration allowed Matheus Cunha to equalise almost instantly after.

The Whites struggled to gain early momentum like in recent weeks with their visitors settling into the occasion and chances hard to come by through the opening half-hour. Calvert-Lewin then came painfully close when his glancing header of Anton Stach’s cross struck the far post while Lucas Perri was forced into a good reflex save from Leny Yoro’s flick on.

It took another 15 minutes after half-time for a real chance to arrive but when it did, Aaronson latched onto a long loose ball to finish brilliantly beyond Senne Lammens. But the away side levelled instantly through Cunha, who got in behind Pascal Struijk and Sebastiaan Bornauw to score what proved to be a crucial equaliser.

YEP chief football writer Graham Smyth was at Elland Road to watch the action. Here are his Leeds United player ratings...
