Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back in the England squad for Friday night’s friendly against Uruguay.

Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has received big backing upon his England recall for Friday night’s friendly against Uruguay at Wembley.

Calvert-Lewin’s fine form for Leeds has earned the striker an England recall and the forward now has the chance to advertise his claims for a World Cup place in Friday night’s friendly against Uruguay.

The bookmakers have made Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions strong odds-on favourites to beat Marcelo Bielsa’s visitors and the bookies have also given strong backing to Calvert-Lewin who is second favourite in the any time scorer market.

England are no bigger than 11-20 to beat Bielsa’s side who can be backed at 6-1 and even the draw is as big as 10-3.

Leeds striker favourite in hat-trick market

Harry Kane heads the any time scorer market at 5-4 but Calvert-Lewin is clear second favourite at 31-20, ahead of the likes of Dominic Solanke (11-5), Marcus Rashford (47-20), Harvey Barnes (5-2) and Cole Palmer (13-5).

Bukayo Saka and Jarrod Bowen are both 27-10 and next, followed by Anthony Gordon (3-1), Noni Madueke (16-5), Morgan Rogers (16-5), Phil Foden (16-5) and then Jude Bellingham (18-5).

Only then are the first Uruguay players introduced in Agustin Alvarez (9-2) and Darwin Nunez (9-2).

In further backing for Calvert-Lewin, the Leeds striker is favourite in the to score a hat-trick market at 40-1, ahead of Solanke at 50s.

The bookies, though, anticipate an England win but in a low scoring affair, a 1-0 victory for Tuchel’s side clear favourite in the correct score market at 5-1.
