Leeds United announce tickets update with Bayern Munich legends game also postponed over Coronavirus

LEEDS UNITED have announced that tickets purchased for fixtures suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak will be valid for each rearranged game.

The club's scheduled legends charity match against a Bayern Munich XI at Elland Road has also been postponed.

Leeds were due to face a Bayern XI on Saturday, March 28 to raise money for charity as part of the club's ongoing centenary celebrations but the game has now been postponed and will be re-arranged.

Tickets for the new date when it is arranged will still stand.

Leeds are facing at least three weeks off with the entire English professional game suspended until at least Friday, April 3 over the Coronavirus outbreak.

Sunday's clash at Cardiff City plus next week's Elland Road dates against Fulham and Luton Town all fall within that time frame.

A statement from Leeds United read: "Following today’s announcement from the football authorities, we would like to make it clear that tickets purchased for games that have been postponed will be valid for the rearranged fixtures.

"We have also postponed our Legends showcase against an FC Bayern Munich XI which was due to take place on 28th March.

"Again, tickets will be valid for the fixture once it has been rearranged."
