Leeds United's next opponents Arsenal get triple boost ahead of Whites visit

A triple boost for Leeds United’s next opponents Arsenal.

Leeds United’s next opponents Arsenal have received a triple fitness boost ahead of Saturday’s return to Premier League action at the Emirates.

French international centre-back star William Saliba remains out injured for the Gunners who have then seen attackers Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis suffer hamstring injuries during the international break.

There were also varying degrees of doubt about defenders Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie heading into the break but all three players have now returned to training at London Colney as per a report from football.london

Former Leeds loanee White has not featured since suffering a groin injury in the 2-0 win at Sunderland in the penultimate Premier League game before the international break, the centre-back not named in Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the September and October Nations League games.

Boss Mikel Arteta said ahead of Arsenal's clash at Brighton before the international break that White was “all good” but the centre-back still did not make the match day squad down on the south coast.

Mosquera, meanwhile, has not featured since suffering an injury in the 1-0 win at Aston Villa at the end of August, the centre-back having now missed Arsenal's last five games.

The Spain capped centre-back travelled with the squad to Brighton despite not being named in the matchday squad.

Fellow defender Hincapie was left out of Ecuador’s squad for the international games due to ongoing fitness concerns but White, Mosquera and Hincapie have all been pictured in training ahead of next Saturday’s return to action against Leeds.
