Leeds United will be back in front of their own supporters on Saturday when they host Premier League title favourites Arsenal. The Whites drew 1-1 at Everton last time out to extend their impressive run of form to just one defeat in 10 league games, enough to leave them six points clear of the relegation zone.
It’s a stark contrast from the Leeds side who were thumped 5-0 at the Emirates back in August, with Daniel Farke’s side now confident they can take points off anyone - especially at home. Visitors Arsenal have dropped points in their last two league games and have midweek Champions League commitments to manage.
Both sides also have a few fitness issues to assess through the week before Saturday’s Elland Road meeting. Below, the YEP looks at the early team news from both sides ahead of another massive game in West Yorkshire.

1. OUT: Max Dowman
The 16-year-old, who won a controversial penalty in the reverse fixture, suffered an ankle ligament injury in December and hasn't featured since. Is still thought to be a few weeks away from returning. | Getty Images

2. DOUBT: Riccardo Calafiori
The defender has not featured since December after picking up a muscle injury in the warm-up ahead of facing Brighton. He was spotted in training last week but not in the matchday squad against Manchester United on Saturday. | Getty Images

3. DOUBT: Kai Havertz
The German sustained a knee injury at the beginning of the season and underwent surgery, with his return to play being carefully managed. Mikel Arteta said his forward was 'very close' to being at full fitness but like Calafiori, he missed Manchester United last weekend. | Getty Images

4. OUT: Daniel James
A hamstring tendon injury has kept James out of action since the end of November, with an initial eight-week prognosis coming to an end later this month. Farke said last week it will still take some time for the Welsh winger to return to full fitness. Photo: Jack Thomas

5. OUT: Jaka Bijol
Missed games against Fulham and Everton with a hamstring injury, albeit Farke provided a positive update last week. He expects the Slovenian to be back in training in a couple more weeks, having progressed well in his recovery. | Getty Images

6. OUT: Gabriel Gudmundsson
Missed the draw at Everton with an adductor strain, with an initial assessment of three to four weeks out for the Swedish international. Farke confirmed a small boost after Monday's game, however, with a 'second opinion' reducing that timeframe to one or two more fixtures. Photo: Richard Sellers
