Bookies take strong early view on Arsenal vs Leeds United match after Gunners injuries and Brighton defeat
A strong early view from the bookies on Leeds United’s return to Premier League action at champions Arsenal.
The bookies have taken a strong early view on Leeds United’s return to Premier League action at champions Arsenal after Gunners injuries and the pre-break defeat at Brighton.
Mikel Arteta’s side began the defence of their title with four consecutive victories but the Gunners suffered a somewhat surprising defeat in the last game before the international break with a 3-0 loss at an impressive Brighton side.
The Gunners have since suffered a variety of injury blows, attackers Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis suffering hamstring injuries on international duty with Germany and Greece respectively and Declan Rice pulling out of the England camp.
French international centre-back star William Saliba also remains out injured while there are doubts of varying degrees about three more defenders in Ben White, Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera.
Leeds, meanwhile, unlike Arsenal, are still unbeaten after five games of the new Premier League season yet the bookies have still taken a very strong view on Arsenal’s prospects in next Saturday’s clash at the Emirates in making the Gunners very short priced favourites at a general 4-11 and now bigger than 2-5.
Despite their impressive start, Daniel Farke’s Whites can be backed at a very big 7-1 to leave with a victory and even the draw is as big as 4s.
Arsenal also have the first nine scorers in the any time scorer betting which is headed by Viktor Gyokeres at 6-5.
