Full time

A 5-0 hiding

Buries it

Into the bottom left, 5-0. A hiding.

Arsenal penalty

93: Stach foul on Dowman, clips him edge of the box. Rice has the ball but Gyokeres to take.

Added time

5 minutes

Stach

88: Couple of bits of bright late play, drives forward but then loses the ball and then makes a good tackle.

Glimmer of a chance

84: Aaronson cross into the box, flies past Nmecha who can’t get a touch.

Leeds sub

83: Bogle - off for Byram.

Nmecha

83: Unable to hold the ball up and Arsenal come again. Byram is coming on

Bogle

78: Trying to carry Leeds forward a bit, about the brightest spark left at the moment. Does well to play in Aaronson down the left but Aaronson loses the ball and Bogle throws his arms in the air in frustration. Gudmundsson is then booked for fouling young Dowman who looks a big threat. Free kick cleared to Dowman who fries just over and wide. Can see him scoring here.

Too easy again

75: Dowman from the right - cuts in past three Leeds players, Gruev the last one unable to make a challenge but rifles his shot over the bar.

Dribbles into trouble

70: Okafor with his first touches wide left after Aaronson had won the ball, Stach then sprayed it out wide.

Okafor debut, double change

66: On for James, Aaronson also on for Gnonto.

Arsenal subs

64: Dowman on for Madueke, Lewis-Skelly on for Califiori. Mosquera on for Timber,

Double Leeds change

58: Tanaka off for Longstaff, Piroe off for Nmecha, Tanaka pulls his shirt over his head as he goes off. The away end are still singing but it’s damage limitation now.

Goal Arsenal

57: A mess at the corner. Timber gets his second. Struijk and Rodon unable to clear,

Still all Arsenal

56: Shot deflected wide, Nmecha and Longstaff coming on.

Saka off injured

53: Looks like his thigh, he’s trying to hold it in but he looks very upset and disappointed. Pulled up after playing a pass. Subbed for Trossard.

Could get ugly

51: Arsenal’s tails are up and crowd are urging more, Saka, though , has gone down injured.

Goal Arsenal

Way too easy, Gyokeres. Ball down the left, looks to be no danger as he receives possession very wide, but cuts into the box, goes by Bogle and Struijk who don’t challenge him and smashes home a low finish past Perri who was also nowhere.

Back underway

No changes

Half time

2-0. Long way back, if there is one.

In behind Gudmundsson

46: He’d done well against Saka but not there, ball slipped in behind him, Saka on to it like a flash, tight angle but whips the ball past Perri into the far left. Timber with the lovely pass.

Goal Arsenal

Saka

Added time

45: Three minutes, Leeds have stayed right in this.

Composure

43: Shown by Tanaka, turns a few times and keeps the ball as Leeds look to build. Good pressure by Gnonto before that to win the ball.

Leeds look to respond

40: Neat feet by Bogle wins a free kick midway in the Arsenal half on the right flank. Poor free kick is cleared. Madueke gets in on the counter but judged to have fouled Stach.

Arsenal sub

38: Odgegaard can’t continue and his replaced by Nwaneri

Rodon

38: With another big interception on the edge of the box.

Goal Arsenal

35: From the corner, Timber header from a Rice corner. Header in a crowded box but Rodon was the closest to him. Fine corner by Rice. Arsenal straight away looking for a second.

Gudmundsson

33: Doing very well faced against a very tough task against Saka who is not having much joy. Rodon then clears a cross from the left for a corner.

Frustration

29: Among the Arsenal fans now as Leeds prove hard to break down. Attack down the left ends with a heavy pass behind for a goal kick. Piroe might not have done a lot but he’s also leading the press up tops.

Injury

27: Odegaard has gone down and might be done here, stayed down a bit earlier at the free kick won. It’s his shoulder, Stach did the damage. Looks like he’s playing on though

Rock solid

24: Rodon, again, clears under pressure from Gyokeres. Bogle then sticks to Madueke like glue and Arsenal man can only head well wide. Bogle done well since the booking. Gruev then alert to head the ball back to Perri.

Decent from Leeds

22: More than holding their own now, James cross for Gnonto cleared, Raya clattered but seems okay, away end in fine voice with a loud MOT. Struijk then beats Gyokeres to a ball down the right, Gyokeres yet to get going, fair few loose touches

CHANCE LEEDS, WHAT A SAVE

20: Struijk header from the corner, wonder save by Raya to tip it over the bar, second corner also caused problems but cleared

Better from Leeds

19: Stach drives forward, lays it off to James whose low shot is blocked behind for a corner.

HUGE CHANCE ARSENAL

16: Sitter missed by Gyokeres. Leeds take the goal kick short and it looks risky straight away, Perri to Struijk to Stach who is hunted down - ball finds Gyokeres in the middle of the box but his first time shot on the stretch is wide. Had more time there. Should be 1-0. Good defending by Bogle then to block out Gyokeres and then Madueke who is looking very dangerous down the left,

Leeds attempt

13: Decent attack, first bit of pressure, James shot blocked from the edge of the box. Stach then fouls Odgeaard in the middle of the Leeds half. Free kick is well defended and behind for a goal kick.

Relentless

12: Arsenal want a pen as Calafiori goes down under pressure by James but nothing in it, cross then just misses Saka at the far stick, Saka starting to pull the strings

Messy, Leeds booking

10: Bogle booked for fouling Madueke on the edge of the box after he tried his best to retrieve Perri’s very poor clearance. Bogle then makes amends by clearing the free kick

CHANCE ARSENAL

8: Saka pulls the ball back to Odgegaard who whips one just wide, Saka easily created space away from Gudmundsson.

Leeds can’t get out

7: Gudmundsson foul as Leeds look to clear. Gruev and Stach both had chances to clear but both pressed down, Rodon the wins another big header to clear, solid start by him

UNDERWAY! Early danger down the left

1: Leeds get us going. Arsenal have the ball straight away and look to build in a cauldron of noise here. Madueke gets too much space away from Bogle and sends in a low cross but Perri easily gathers. Arsenal then get in again down that side but cross cleared by Rodon - attack after Tanaka lost possession. Early danger down the left. Loose touch then James allows Arsenal to attack again but Odegaard shot blocked.
