Leeds United given big fresh backing for Aston Villa visit with confidence in key figure

Leeds United will resume their Premier League survival bid with Saturday’s clash at Aston Villa.

Leeds United have been given fresh backing by the bookies in the face of a difficult next Premier League test at highflying Aston Villa.

Daniel Farke’s Whites will resume their bid for top-flight survival with Saturday afternoon’s 3pm kick-off at Villa who sat third in the table and only three points behind second-placed Manchester City.

Villa are 12 places and 20 points ahead of Leeds and Unai Emerry’s side have naturally been made favourites for the visit of Leeds but with the Whites far from written off the bookmakers.

Leeds are heading for Villa Park having lost just two of their last 15 games in league and cup and despite facing a huge test the Whites are no bigger than 18-5.

Villa, meanwhile, are available at odds of 5-6 whilst the draw is on offer at 11-4.

Emery’s side have the first three players in the first scorer market which is headed by Ollie Watkins and Tammy Abraham who are both 5s, just ahead of Morgan Rogers at 6s.

Whites no 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin, though, is not far behind at 13-2 and a 1-1 draw is favourite in the correct score market at 13-2.
